Heat pump installation in Markham
We install heat pumps across Markham, from Unionville to Cornell. Newer Markham homes are tighter and better insulated, which often means a smaller, quieter heat pump than the furnace label suggests.
Homes we work on in Markham
Newer-build detached and townhomes in Cornell, Berczy and Cathedraltown with efficient envelopes, plus 1970s–80s homes in Unionville and Markham Village. For newer homes we commonly see 2–3 ton requirements where the original furnace was oversized.
Rebates for Markham homeowners
Ontario's Home Renovation Savings Program pays $500 per ton, up to $2,000, for gas-heated homes, and $1,250 per ton, up to $7,500, for homes heated by electricity, oil, propane or wood. The federal National Heat Pump Rebate ($2,000, up to $10,000 below median income) is expected to open in early 2027, and installs from November 1, 2026 count toward it.
